Top Pay Per Action Companies

These are sites that are currently under investigation. Some of them I have finished investigating, but I am leaving them here with my comments. I do not whole-heartedly recommend them at this time. I have joined them and am in the process of looking at them. I would recommend only joining ONE of them, as most of the offers are repeated and you can only sign up once with them.

Comments: They are not members of the BBB and the Bureau has processed a total of 27 complaints -- 17 in the last year. At first, I didn't like this company but I decided to give it a try. I found out that they list which offers are free and which ones require you to pay out. So far, I have earned $10.69 from them without paying for anything. I have only spent about a 1/2 hour of my time on their site and haven't really tried to earn anything. Some of their "free offers" are more extensive then they appear at first glance. Be careful how much information you give out. Also, they have a minimum payout of $30.00 and there is a $3.00 fee for this.

It Pays to Learn
Creation Date: 01 Sep 1999
Minimum Payout: $1.00 via PayPal
Comments: I joined this program and am still checking it out. I'll let you know more later. However, that is my affiliate link (giving you a blank link is useless since they will just enter in someone elses referral ID if it is blank).

FusionCash
200 McLaughlin Drive, Merrill Box #157, Santa Cruz, CA 95064
My findings: This one is better than some as it clearly states "FusionCash is a site that pays its users to try products and services - many of which are free!" They don't list their address or phone number on their site, they only have two resolved complaints with the BBB and the address was listed there. It is much clearer about what it is offering than any other ones that I have seen. Good for them!

Reviewed, and not recommended sites

Hits4Pay
Creation Date: 14 Feb 2001
Minimum Payout: $25.00 via check
Comments: I joined this program and am still checking it out. Although they have an "internal mailbox" where you can read emails on their site, they email you several times a day stating you have new email. I received ten emails from them on one day. I did receive $0.02 for an email, but you have to "wait" why they update your account--thus forcing you to stare at the ad for close to a minute. I don't know about you, but I'm worth more than $1.20 per hour.

Comments: When you log in, they ask you a series of questions. They are really fishing for offers to give you. I always click no. You can receive free points for clicking on ads. You receive about 1 point per ad. You need 2,600 points to receive a SAMPLE of a Ban Solid Deodorant, Aveeno Glow, Claritin D, Aquafresh, Tide, etc. That's right. I didn't see anything I would want to redeem my points for. This site is going to the bottom of the pile.

SearchCactus.com
Comments: They are a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. They probably do pay you cash for visiting websites and for "special online offers and promotions." Trick here is how much. According to them, they "will pay you $0.01 for visiting web sites with [special symbol] next to the listing." However, you can only visit a total of 15 sites a day. Also, "If your account balance is less than $20.00 at the end of the month, the balance will be carried forward to the following month." Apparently, they don't understand the definition of "free" because when I click on the "free" button, most of the offers require a $1.00 membership.

ProductTestPanel
Comments: I just signed up with this company. They state that you are guaranteed at least three products to test for free within the next 90 days. I'm sure that not all the products are as cool as what their banner shows, but still might be worth it. When i signed up for it's "free chocolate phone" it made you sign up for six offers on three pages. The first two pages were semi-decent offers, but last page had offers that I doubt anyone could complete. All three required a minimum purchase of between $499 to $1500. It would be cheaper to buy the darn phone.
