Free Survey Companies

T - Z

I'd like to remind you that all of these links should be to free surveys. If they are not, please let me know. I tried to check them out before hand but I may have missed something. They are listed in alphabetical order and all links will pop up in a new window.

Codes: BBB = Better Business Bureau; AMA = American Marketing Association; ARF = Advertising Research Foundation; CASRO = Council of American Survey Research Organizations; MRA = Marketing Research Association.

Team Look-Look
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. Site was down when I tried to visit.

Tech T.V. Opinions
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. According to their site, they are no longer in business.

Test Spin
23632 Calabasas Road, Suite 203, Calabasas, CA 91302
(818) 793-1000
Comments: They are members of the BBB but not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. Their address and phone number was clearly listed on their website. Site was very professional with all the usual kicks and giggles. They state that they pay "up to $4 for taking a survey and $30 to join a focus group." I didn't see any red flags or warning signs on this one except a very lengthy links page. However, on one of the first surveys they sent me I was told I could earn $2 for a 15 minute surveys. After about 25 questions asking me all about what type of wireless service I used, I suddenly "didn't qualify" and received nothing. It seemed to me that they asked to many detailed questions (such as what percentage I used my phone to call friends) for it to be a qualifying survey.

That's What I Think AU
No address listed
No phone number listed
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. They state that upi "earn points for being a part of the That's-What-I-Think team. You could earn wonderful prizes like Wishlist.com.au gift certificates or make donations to your favorite charities."

TikTikCash
Comments: This is not really a survey company. You "earn" money by joining their affiliated survey companies and signing up for "offers." For more information on this company, please check out my page on survey lookalikes.

Trend Scan
No address listed
No phone number listed
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. This company offers "trendchips." 20 trendchips equal 1 Euro. I guess they must be located in Europe, but I couldn't find an address or phone number. I never recommend giving you a company your information unless they're willing to state theirs first.

Trial Size
P.O. Box 280821, Lakewood, CO 80228
No phone number listed
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. They say that you can earn points (or rewards) but then clarify by saying that "Currently, your member rewards can be used to enter you into grand prize drawings, held once a year." I have the feeling that you'll be asked for a lot of "shipping and handling" for any trial sizes offered. The payout it too skimpy to be worth it. Not to mention they only give a P.O. box and don't list a number.

U30
1999 Bryan, Suite 2900, Dallas, TX 75201
(214) 259-3838
Comments: They are not members but have a satisfactory record with the BBB but not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. I could not get their web page to load up (it kept timing out) so there isn't much more I can say about this company right now.

Universal Survey Company
29 West 38th St. New York, NY 10018
(212) 391-5243
Comments: They are members of CASRO and MRA. However, they don't list any contact information on their website. They state that you'll "receive cash and prizes" for answering surveys, but don't give any specifics or examples. There is simply not enough information for me to make a judgment about this company either way.

USA Panel
AKA: TRC
1300 Virginia Drive, Suite 200, Fort Washington, PA 19034
(215) 641-2200
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. According to the site, "Typically you will be asked to fill out 1 survey per month. The surveys usually average between 8 and 15 minutes. Many surveys will have either a drawing for a prize or a cash incentive for completing a survey." Doesn't sound worth it to me.

US Media Transfer
See Media Transfer
Comments: According to them "Depending on the duration of our surveys you will receive a certain amount of credits, our so-called MTs. Once your account balance has reached 100 MTs you have the opportunity to turn your points into Amazon vouchers with a value of $25. This site is part of Media Transfer and more information is listed under that name.

Vente, Inc.
AKA: Consumer Expressions, Opinions Direct, Survey Network,
4509 S. 143rd St. Suite 9, Omaha, NE 68137
(402) 898-6800 or (877) 899-1490
Comments: They are not members and the BBB didn't have enough information to issue a recommendation. Their address is clearly listed on their site. According to them, "each survey you complete gives you a chance to win great prizes and special offers." This is also an Experian company (the credit people) and I'm not exactly sure what that means.

Vividence Research Panel
AKA: Keynote Corporation
Comments: This site is part of Keynote Research Panel and more information is listed under that name.

The VocaLabs Team
10925 Valley View Road, Suite 202, Eden Prairie, MN 55344
(952) 941-6580
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. According to them "panelists receive cash for completing certain tasks for Vocal Laboratories. The cash value for completing certain tasks will be determined by VocaLabs. VocaLabs will determine, in its sole discretion, when cash is to be awarded and in what manner." I joined and have yet to receive an offer that I qualify for.

Wellness Interactive
AKA: The Hartman Group
No address listed
No phone number listed
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. They make no mention of compensation for surveys and seem more wellness/fitness oriented. If you're a health nut, this site might interest you. If you're looking for money, look the other way.

Wired Insights
Winston-Salem, NC
No phone number listed
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO. They repeatedly mention they are located in Winston-Salem, but fail to give an actual address. They mention that "each time you complete a survey, you're entered into a drawing to win a cash prize." That means, little pay out from a company that is willing to list the basic of information. A little too risky for my tastes.

Wired Pulse
AKA: Socratic Technologies
505 Mariposa Street, San Francisco, CA 94110-1424
(800) 576-2728
Comments: I could not find them listed in the BBB and they are not members of the AMA, MRA, or CASRO (but I didn't look under the name Socratic). They state that "Each time you complete a survey we will offer you compensation for your time. Compensation can include access to data and information, a chance to win the latest tech gear, large cash rewards, and other individual gifts and payments." Contact information was easy to find and the site was nicely done.

Your 2 Cents
AKA: Common Knowledge, Research Services 16200 Dallas Parkway, Suite 140, Dallas, Texas 75248-6897
(972) 732-7323 or (866) 249-4294
Comments: They are not members but have a satisfactory record with the BBB and are members of AMA and CASRO. According to them, "you can earn $1 to $5 each time you qualify and complete a survey." The trick is qualifying. Still when "a panelist attempts to take a survey, but does not qualify* for the study, he or she is still rewarded with an entry to our $5,000 cash giveaway and/or a small cash amount." I joined and within two days I had a earned $5.00. No, its not $100s of dollars a day but better than most other surveys really offer.

Your Say
AKA: MORVO, OVAGO,
Comments: This is not really a survey company. You "earn" money by joining their affiliated survey companies and signing up for "offers." For more information on this company, please check out my page on survey lookalikes.
